What types of support does CSI provide to students?

CS International views support and mentoring as a very important factor when learning Six Sigma and Lean Enterprise Methodologies.  Its one thing to learn the theory and curriculum portion however at times, it can be challenging to actually apply the concepts to real world projects. 

CS Internationals utilizes two support channels, Delayed and Immediate.  Delayed forms of support include discussion forums, regularly scheduled webinars and email.  Immediate forms of support include telephone support with our mentors and instructors.

What are CSIs Certification Requirements?

CS Internationals Certifications are highly valued for that reason we maintain strict compliance to our standards.

“Certificate of Training” – This is issued upon completion of the eLearning class portion of training. CS International issues this certificate based on a candidate’s 100% completion, adequate testing scores and active participation throughout the course.
 

“Black / Green Belt Certification” – Issuance of Black/Green Belt certification is based on eLearning online performance, as well as the candidate’s application of learned methodology to two real-world projects, and their ability to leverage site support from CS International Master Black Belts. Candidates are required to complete 2 auditable projects with internally approved financial results, and must submit to CS International a final report detailing the use of the methodology toward the completion of these projects. Green Belt candidates will have a maximum of 10 months, Black Belt candidates a maximum of 12 months, from the first day of beginning training in the “Measure” Phase, to submit the above-mentioned criteria for consideration. CS International reserves the right to issue any and all certifications.
 

What Software is required to complete training?

CS International utilizes, in our curriculum and recommends Minitab Statistical Analysis Software.  This can be purchased at discounted rates directly thru CS International.  However we will support you with a variety of software programs such as JMP, Excel or any of the major analysis packages.

Is there required reading for students?

CS International does not require mandatory reading.  However we do provide a list of recommended readings.

Does the CSI portal utilize any search capability?

CS Internationals learning platform utilizes a complete search capability.

What browsers does CSIs eLearning support?

CS International designs against MS Internet Explorer 5+, although we do support mozilla FireFox and NetScape (not full compatibility).  You must allow the running of Scripts and Turn off PopUp Disabling software. The screen is best viewed with 1024 * 768 pixel resolution.

How do I sign up?

There are two ways to sign up for CS International’s eLearning programs. One, by clicking on the store in the CSI website and following the simple step by step instructions to purchase online.  The second option for eLearning enrollment is by calling our toll free 1.800.504.4511 or 1.480.361.9983 and talking with one of CS International’s sales representatives.

What happens after I sign up?

Once you have registered for eLearning thru our website or via our toll free number you will be sent a email confirmation from CS International (6SigmaeLearning.com) which welcomes you to the eLearning program and includes your unique username and password.  In addition, the email will include a direct link to the eLearning portal screen followed by simple login information.  You will also hear from your dedicated Master Black Belt Instructor and Mentor within 24 hours.
