Position Overview:
As a key team member of a CS International Six Sigma & Lean deployment, you will be an integral part of a team guiding and transforming our customer’s business using Strategy Lean tools/techniques. This position will focus on mentoring resources and facilitating Kaizen events. This position will include some basic statistical analysis of metrics in support of Lean events.

You will participate on a team delivering Lean education, via on-the-job training and mentoring thru project work and Kiazen events. This is a challenging position, assisting client management teams in performing analysis to identify improvements in operational and transactional processes. Primary focus will be on driving overall thruput and costs efforts through productivity, cycle time, quality, complexity, improvements to realize financial benefits for the customer.

This position is being offer based on an as needed contractual relationship. This position will require your presence in the Republic of South Africa three weeks per month on average.

Job Responsibilities
• Lead site-specific Lean Transformations on a client engagement, employing advanced Lean tools and techniques
• Lead project selection assessments; develop and analyze improvement opportunities and projects.
• Lead Kaizen events with client personnel utilizing Lean Concepts & Tools
• Provide coaching and mentoring of client resources on Lean tools and techniques


Required Experience/Skills:
• Two or more years experience in operations performance improvement with emphasis on the application of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Two or more years consulting (internal or external) experience
• Two or more years experience in leading Kaizen events and Lean transformations
• A general understanding of the Six Sigma process and deployment activity
• At least 5 years work experience
• Must be willing to travel to all parts of the world, relocation not required

Preferred Experience/Skills:
• Experience applying Lean concepts in a variety of business environments: transactional/service and manufacturing /production
• Strong Facilitation and Team Leadership skills
• Prior interface with C-level executives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High Energy and Well Organized
